Location:   Oregon Coast Community College
                  1206 SE 48th Street (Taft area)
                   Lincoln City, Oregon
    
Note:          Testing starts at 8:30 a.m., however, applicants need to arrive no later than
                    9 a.m.
                   Advance reservations accepted.  Walk-ins OK.  There are three types of
                   license,
                   Technician, General and Extra Class.  Code is no longer required.  Each test is
                   referred to as an element.
Fee:           $14 for one or more elements taken on the same day.  Photo ID required.  New
                   applicants require SSN#.  Bring two (2) copies of existing license if upgrading. 
                   FCC requires FRN# on any application for an upgrade.

Saturday August 23rd, 2008 The Tillamook County RACES group and Emergency Management are putting on a training for ICS 100-200-700. These are required for our radio work and are suggested for any responders. For some first responders it is allready a requirement.

Tuesday September 23rd, 2008 Tsunami Exercise in Tillamook County. Ham radio volunteers are requested for this exercise.

Note:        There is an informal pre-meeting gathering at Main Street Pizza in Tillamook around 5:30 p.m.  No reservations, no host, just drop in.
